How to Disable Comments on YouTube?

How can I turn off comments on YouTube videos? In this guide, I’ll teach you how to disable YouTube comments. I also demonstrate how to disable comments on all of your YouTube videos. Turning off comments on a YouTube video prevents anybody from leaving a remark on that video.

Follow the steps below to disable comments on a posted YouTube video:

  • Log in to YouTube and find the video with the nefarious remarks.
  • Choose Edit Video. You should be sent to YouTube Studio as a result of this.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page under Details until you find Comments and ratings.
  • Select your favorite choice from the drop-down marked Comment Visibility. Select Disable comments to turn off comments.
  • Choose Save.
  • Return to Basic and choose the video in question to confirm that comments have been deactivated. You should notice Comments are disabled for this video below the description.
